es·ca·pade | \e-skə-ˌpād\
:a usually adventurous action that runs counter to approved or conventional conduct

I like to live on the edge and break stereotypes. I enjoy partaking in culturally rich experiences, but also can be found binge watching Netflix. On this blog you will find insights from my stream of thought, travels and disability related topics.

I’m an American living in Germany. Teaching English, Intercultural Communication & Disability courses at a University. Traveling, eating, managing public transport and researching crisis and migration are my current past-times.

I also like rolling around in unpredictable places…

“It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive.”

  1. Hi Grace! So glad that Jeremy told me about your blog! I can’t wait to take the time to read it all and catch up on how things have gone in Berlin!
I sent you an email a while back (I think) about our daughter being in Paris for the year; working for an artist who lives in Berlin. Hope you and Julia get to meet one of these days.
Come to Maine again sometime too!!
